Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our mission-driven team as a 1099 Independent Contractor providing in-home care. In this flexible, non-traditional nursing role, you'll work one-on-one with patients—primarily former energy workers—in the comfort of their homes. You’ll deliver skilled care, health education, and support that helps clients live with dignity and independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home nursing care and administer prescribed treatments.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting any changes.
- Educate patients and their families about medication, wellness, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed to ensure optimal care.
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Ability to work independently and travel to patient homes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home health, hospice, or palliative care settings
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with the needs of the geriatric or energy worker populations
Additional Information
- This is a 1099 contractor position (not a W-2 employee role)
- You have the ability to set your own hours and caseload
- No supervisory responsibilities
- Travel required to clients’ home(s)
