We’re seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse contractor to provide in-home care. This 1099 Independent Contractor role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work outside traditional clinical settings.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide gentle, hands-on care with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming—helping patients feel comfortable, respected, and dignified.
  • Support mobility and safety, assisting with transfers and positioning to ensure each patient feels secure and cared for.
  • Be a trusted observer, noticing and reporting changes in health or mood to help guide the best possible care.
  • Create a warm, welcoming environment in the patient’s home, where healing and comfort go hand in hand.
  • Build meaningful connections with patients and families, offering not just care—but companionship, kindness, and understanding.
  • Document care thoughtfully, capturing the patient’s story with accuracy and compassion.
  • Communicate with heart, working closely with care teams to ensure every patient’s needs are met with dignity and grace.
  • Honor independence, managing your own schedule while delivering consistent, reliable care.
  • Live the mission, serving former energy workers with gratitude and respect, knowing your work helps preserve their legacy.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience preferred, especially in home health or elder care
  • Compassionate and patient-centered mindset—you care deeply about the people you serve
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to connect with patients and care teams
  • Reliable and self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift, move, and assist patients safely
  • Current CPR certification 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to patient homes
  • Commitment to honoring the legacy of former energy workers through respectful, high-quality care
